"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is the sixth book in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, and lives up to the high hopes that preceded its publication. Set in Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, it is filled with many flashbacks to Lord Voldemort's strange past, and how Voldemort came to be the Dark Lord and Harry's nemesis.
This tale has a very good plot, and it's very tempting to stay up half the night reading it, though there are some slow parts to the story.
Contrary to the title, Harry does not devote most of his school year searching for the half-blood prince. Harry meets the Prince when he is loaned an old textbook by one of his teachers, and finds writing inside of it, written by someone known as the "Half-Blood Prince." Though Harry searches, he doesn't find out who the Prince is until the end of the story.
