The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road.

Shelter hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. These animals may be made available for adoption after five days.


No. 1 - Kitten, gray tabby, found on Old National Pike in Boonsboro

No. 22 - Kitten, orange tabby, found on Maplehurst Avenue

No. 23 - Young adult, gray, beige, white dilute calico, found on North Mulberry Street

No. 34 - Kitten, buff tabby, found on Noland Drive

No. 36 - Young adult, white, found on East Franklin Street

No. 37 - Adult, brown and black tabby, found on Twin Springs Drive


No. 39 - Young adult, black/orange/white calico, from Deer Lodge

No. 41- Kitten, black, found on College Road

No. 47 - Adult, white/black/orange calico, found on Mill Street

No. 55 - Young adult, black, found on North Main Street in Boonsboro

No. 56 - Adult, black and brown tabby, found on St. James

No. 86 - Adult, black and white, found on Old Georgetown Road

No. 87 - Juvenile, gray tabby, found on Noland Drive

No. 89 - Kitten, brown, orange, white torbie, found on Broadway


No. 2 - Husky mix, adult, tan and red, found on Bower Avenue

No. 21 - Jack Russell terrier, white and brown, found on South Locust Street

No. 25 - Beagle-lab mix, young adult, beige, found on East Oak Ridge Drive

No. 48 - Beagle mix, adult, black/brown/white, found on Marshall Street

No. 49 - Lab/chow mix, senior, tan and black, found on Village Mill Road

No. 54 - Lab mix, adult, black and white, found in Williamsport

No. 88 - Lab mix, puppy, black, found on Leitersburg Pike

No. 90 - German Shepherd-husky mix, young adult, black and tan, found on Orchard Ridge Road

No. 93 - Golden retriever mix, adult, gold and tan, found on Taylors Landing Road
