PenMar not such a snow white tale

July 14, 2005|by TIM ROWLAND

I realize it's a serious topic, but after eight years I just can't see a PenMar headline anymore without getting all giggly. So I'm truly sorry about this, I really am. And yes, I also realize Morgan-Chase is the wrong investment bank, but if you are wonk enough to pick up on that, you're a real loser, so there.

To the tune of the Seven Dwarfs singing "Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to work we go..."

PenMar

PenMar

We never got too far.

We had lotsa land

But we had no plan

PenMar

We're visionary stars

Don't tell us what to do

We know what's best for you

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We searched both near and far

But there's no high tech

Just a loud train wreck

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We hit a slight hiccup

The problem with the fort

Is it might blow up

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

There's really no romance

In a great big heap

of unexploded ordnance

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

Now all our plans are marred

We're not worth our salt

But it's not our fault

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We tried concrete and rebar

But found masonry

Ain't our cup of tea

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

Contractually we're scarred

Don't sign with that ink pen

We changed our minds again

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We wrongly wished upon a star

That J.P Morgan-Chase

would reuse the base

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We're lowering the bar

So a reform school

Sounded really cool

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

It comes as a real jar

When attendance sags

But they're surplus flags

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We really came unglued

Cause everything we did

Always got us sued

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

School wasn't up to par

Now it's plain to see

We have no Plan B

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

It's a baby made of tar

And it's just bad luck

That we're always stuck

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

Our dignity is marred

People think we're bats

Cause we fight like cats

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

What's going on up dar?

But at least our gaffes

Give you lots of laughs

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

We know we'll win this race

What Cascade needs

Is more office space

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

PenMar

No profit will we reap

Someone made a bid

And we sold it cheap

PenMar

PenMar.
