With its beautiful images, cute game concepts and quasi-regular game releases, Orisinal.com is a great place to go for fun Flash-animated games.

Flash is a two-dimensional computer-based animation program. It's easy to use, small and prevalent throughout the Web. Flash can be downloaded at www.macromedia.com/downloads.

One Orisinal.com game, "The Truth is Up There," is about filming a UFO flying across the sky. The controls are simple: The only controls you have are on your mouse. Once you run out of tape or battery power, the game ends and you are awarded a sum of money depending upon how well you filmed.

The site has about 40 games.

In the recent release "The Way Home," the player controls a squirrel jumping across building ledges on its way home. The object of the game is to collect cherries found on the ledges - without falling off. Most of the games follow this strategy - collect objects in creative ways to get points.

The games are cute and often beautiful, some of the best artwork I've seen made with Flash. Also, they're appropriate for all ages, which isn't something you can say for a lot of games online.
