CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police charged a Chambersburg man with robbery and two counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly stabbed two Wal-Mart employees who confronted him in the parking lot Monday afternoon.

Police said Alfonso Bryce Torres, 23, address unavailable, also was charged with retail theft and two counts of simple assault in the 2:50 p.m. incident. The charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Richard Alloway and Torres was jailed on $50,000 bond, police said.

Police said Torres and Teresa M. Eaton, 20, of Waynesboro, Pa., were confronted in the parking lot by store security personnel after they allegedly left the store with two bottles of perfume. A fight ensued and one of the employees was stabbed in the thigh and another in the hand, police said.

Police said the unidentified employees were treated at Chambersburg Hospital and released.

Eaton was issued citations for retail theft and disorderly conduct and released, police said.
