Brooks Robinson All-Star Game
On Sunday, the Baltimore Orioles will host the Brooks Robinson High School All-Star Game, featuring the best high school baseball players in the state of Maryland. The game will be played at Camden Yards following the Orioles' game against the Boston Red Sox at 1:35 p.m.
David Warrenfeltz, a Herald-Mail All-Area First Team catcher and Williamsport graduate, and Matt Ridenour, a North Hagerstown graduate and All-Area First Team outfielder, will participate in the game.
Diamond Baseball Camp
The Diamond Baseball Camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 17 will be held July 11-14 at Marty Snook Park in Halfway. Camp sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $125 per child, or $225 for two children in the same family. Top area coaches and players will provide instruction, including Jefferson baseball coach John Lowery and Catoctin baseball coach Mike Franklin.
