Power over pain picnic

A power over pain picnic will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Martin L. "Marty" Snook Memorial Park, pavilion one, Hagers-town. There will be free hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and potato chips.

The picnic is sponsored by American Pain Foundation and Maryland Pain Initiative.

Veterans' health fair

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Martinsburg Vet Center, 900 Winchester Ave., invites veterans of recent overseas conflicts to attend a health fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 8. The health fair is open to all area veterans but will focus on Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) veterans.

People with arthritis needed for survey

FREDERICK, Md. - Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center of Maryland is looking for qualified participants to complete a 20-minute survey to get opinions on the medications that are available for rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. Upon completion of this survey, participants will receive a $50 American Express Gift Checque.
