Local drivers triumph at Hagerstown Speedway

D. J. Myers of Greencastle, Pa., and Andy Anderson of Martinsburg, W.Va., won the 25-lap late model features last Saturday at Hagerstown Speedway.

Bud Barton of Elizabethtown, Pa., scored his first career win in the 20-lap Hoosier Tires Mid-Atlantic/A&C Racing Engines late-model sportsman main event, and Brian Tavenner of Winchester Va., notched his second win of the year in the 15-lap Ernie's Salvage Yard pure stock feature. Larry Hurley Jr. of Thurmont rounded out JLG Night with his first career win in the 30-lap enduro dash.

This Saturday features the Johnny Roberts Memorial for the late models plus Fireworks. The late-model sportsman and pure stocks will also be in action. Race time is 7 p.m.
