Smoke bomb set, causing bar to be evacuated

The Sportsman Den on West Franklin Street in Hagerstown was evacuated Friday night when a smoke bomb went off inside, the Hagerstown Fire Department said Saturday.

The smoke bomb appeared to be set intentionally.

It burned a small section of the floor in the back of the bar, causing about $200 in damage.

The Hagerstown Fire Department said firefighters saw red smoke coming from the building when they got there about 8:50 p.m.
