Elder Law Attorney David Wingate of Hagerstown introduced the "Life Care Plan" at Loyalton Assisted Living on June 14.
The "Life Care Plan" is a road map in planning long-term care, designed with individual and family needs in mind.
Wingate expressed the importance of having a strategy in place so individuals can have their wishes honored, health-care goals and needs met, legal protection and assets safeguarded. The provisions of the plan secure an attorney for life who will help ensure quality of life.
