All charges against a Hagers-town man accused of grabbing his girlfriend by the neck during a late May incident have been forwarded to Washington County Circuit Court, according to court documents.

Washington County District Judge Ralph H. France II found probable cause to forward eight counts against Jermaine Jackson, 25, of 57 Avalon Ave., during a hearing Tuesday.

Jackson was charged with two counts of illegal possession of a regulated firearm and one count each of second-degree assault, possession of an unregistered rifle/shotgun, possession of and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony/violent crime and theft less than $500, records state.

The Hagerstown Police Department alleges Jackson accused his girlfriend, Daintya White, of cheating on him, grabbed her by the neck and choked her. Police allege officers found several guns and baggies containing crack cocaine in the home.
