July 9: Concert featuring Soup Kitchen, an a cappella trio from Charleston, W.Va., 5:30 p.m. at Cacapon State Park.

July 16: Concert featuring singer, songwriter, actor and musician Bob Lucas, 5:30 p.m. at Berkeley Springs State Park.

July 18 to 23: Berkeley Springs Fireman's Carnival at the U.S. Silica grounds on U.S. 522. Featuring rides, games, live entertainment, food and bingo. Hours are 6 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. A karaoke contest will be on Friday night in which winner gets two-song CD demo and cash.

July 22: Art walk, "The Landscape: Retired But Not Forgotten," 5:30 p.m. at Mountain Laurel; 7:30 p.m. reception at the Ice House.

July 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17: "Hello Dolly" will be presented at Berkeley Springs High School's Connie Perry auditorium. The show will start at 8 p.m. on July 8, 9, 15 and 16; and at 3 p.m. on July 10 and 17. This comically romantic musical features Morgan Harmison as the indomitable Dolly Levi, Steve McBee as Horace Vandergelder, and supporting cast members Lindsey McBee, Joel Ziler, Amanda Smith, Ashley Shade and Timothy Brooks.

July 30 and 31: Morgan County Fair at Berkeley Springs High School, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Fireworks will be at 9 p.m. Friday.
