Martinsburg graduate receives award from school
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Matthew S. Armel, a 2004 graduate of Martinsburg High School, was the recipient of the Fairmont State Associate of Applied Science Academic Achievement Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement in Engineering Technology.
Armel is a member of the honors program at Fairmont, and has remained on the dean's list with a 3.8 grade-point average. He is a West Virginia PROMISE Scholar.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Greenfield and Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Armel, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Streets and Mr. and Mrs. LaGarde Armel, all of Martinsburg.
