Hagerstown youths are looking forward to another bus trip to a major theme park this summer, thanks to a group called For Our Kids Sake.
"We are going back to Six Flags in Jackson, N.J., this year on Aug. 13," said Clara Broadus, one of the organizers of the annual excursions.
Locations vary from year to year but Broadus said Six Flags was the overwhelming choice this year. Last year's trip to King's Dominion was greatly aided by a $1,000 donation from the Women's Club of Hagerstown.
Broadus said she is hoping enough money will be donated for four buses. This year's trip is open to youngsters ages 10 and older. Broadus said those younger than 10 may go but must be accompanied by an adult.
