FREDERICK, Md. - Mike FitzGerald, 50, of Hagerstown, won the Mission of Mercy 5K for the second straight year.
He topped the field of 243 runners with a time of 17 minutes, 45 seconds.

Youth baseball tryout
The Hagerstown Senators will hold tryouts today at 1:30 p.m. at Marty Snook Park. The tryout is open to those who are playing as 8- or 9-year-olds this year. Speedway cancels again
Racing at Hagerstown Speedway was canceled for the eighth time this year Saturday night. The enduro dash has been rescheduled for June 11. The 25th annual Shorty Bowers/Bull Durham Memorial late model twin-20s for the late models are scheduled to run next Saturday.
