Two county girls reported missing

Two Washington County girls have been reported missing, according to written releases from the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

Heather Lynn Cole, 16, of 17411 Apple Blossom Court in Hagerstown, reportedly ran away from home on April 30 about 3 p.m., according to the written release.

Amanda Sweeney Teal, 12, of 1522 Dual Highway in Hagers-town, was reported missing at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Cole was accompanied by Jeremiah May, 16, police said. Cole has brown hair and blue eyes, is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. May has dyed black hair with blond roots showing, is about 6 feet tall and weighs between 230 and 250 pounds, police said.

Both may be frequenting Valley Mall and the Smithsburg area, according to police.

Teal reportedly took the wrong bus home from school and was dropped off at Locust Point in Hagerstown. She has black shoulder-length hair and a very light complexion, according to the release. She is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 80 pounds, police said.

She last was seen wearing a white ribbed T-shirt covered by a black hooded sweatshirt. She was wearing baggy gray sweat pants, new size 2 white sneakers and several yarn bracelets, according to the release.
