GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Greencastle's Adam Wiestling, Cory Briggs, Brian Bennett and Brett Thrush combined to pitch a no-hitter as the Blue Devils beat Steel-High 13-1 Monday in the Mid-Penn Capital.

Steel-High scored its lone run in the third inning on a fielder's choice after two walks and a wild pitch.

Jared Barkdoll had two hits and three RBI for Greencastle (9-4, 6-3), while Conrad Myers and Briggs each had two hits and an RBI and Cody Doyle added two hits.

No. 2 Jefferson 6, Keyser 0


SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Jordan Diehl pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts as Jefferson beat Keyser.

David Smith drove in three runs and Brendan McLaughlin added two hits for the Cougars (17-4).

Northern 5, No. 3 Chambersburg 4


DILLSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg rallied for three runs on five hits to forge a 4-4 tie in the sixth inning, but the Trojans surrendered the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh and fell to Northern.

Josh Frye led the Trojans (9-3) with three hits, while Andrew Burke and Brian Massimilla each added two.

No. 4 Williamsport 11, South 1


WILLIAMSPORT - Aerik Taylor drove in three runs to help Williamsport beat South Hagerstown in the MVAL Antietam.

Williamsport broke the game open early, taking advantage of five South Hagerstown errors in the first two innings to score nine runs.

Cory Itnyre added two hits and two RBI for the Wildcats (12-2, 8-2) while Ryan Heavner struck out four in a complete-game effort.

Patrick Hutzler had two hits, including a home run, for the Rebels.

Goretti 5, No. 5 Musselman 2


Kevin Brashears and Ryan Lipella each homered as St. Maria Goretti upset Musselman.

Sean Engle pitched the complete game and struck out seven for the Gaels (8-6). Lipella, Tim Kellinger, Trevor Cobb and Ryan Wilson each had two hits in the win.

Mark Darlington fanned six and walked just one in the complete-game loss for Musselman (8-5), which has dropped five of its last six games.

No. 9 Boonsboro 6, Clear Spring 5


BOONSBORO - Branden Painter had two hits, including the game-winning RBI double in the seventh inning, to lift Boonsboro past Clear Spring in MVAL Antietam action.

The Warriors (10-3, 8-2) gave up an unearned run in the top of the seventh but came back to tie it at 5-5 when Kyle Kane led off with a double and scored on Josh Lewis' sacrifice fly. Cody Poffenberger, who reached on a bunt single, scored on Painter's double.

Poffenberger finished with three hits and winning pitcher Cameron Shifler struck out five in the complete-game performance to improve to 5-0.

Aron Mills led the Blazers with two hits.

No. 10 Waynesboro 15, Susquenita 4


WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Nathan Minnich had four hits, including a three-run homer, to power Waynesboro to an easy win over Susquenita in the Mid-Penn Colonial.

Ryan Chaney had two triples for the Indians (8-5, 5-3), while Andrew Caron had two hits, including a home run, and Ryan Hight and Matt Anderson each had two hits.

Broadfording 16, Heritage 2


John Kehr pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts to lead Broadfording Christian past Heritage Academy in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Kehr had two hits, including a home run, for the Lions (8-5, 7-0), while Mikkell Wallach had three hits, including a home run, and Josh Bishop and Tyler Duffey each added two hits.

Grace 18, Shalom 13


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Matt Stine went 4-for-4 and Jake Reese had a two-run home run to lead Grace Academy past Shalom Christian in the MDCC.

Andy Eyler added three hits for the Knights (4-3, 4-2).

Southern Fulton 11, Fannett-Metal 8


WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Tyler Elbin went 3-for-3 and scored four runs and Scott Myers went 2-for-4 with three RBI as Southern Fulton (3-7, 2-6) beat Fannett-Metal in the Sideling Hill League.

No. 2 Catoctin 14, North Hagerstown 6


Alicia Brandenburg and Jenn Kelly led an 11-hit attack with three hits apiece as Catoctin (12-1, 10-0) stormed past North Hagerstown in the MVAL Antietam.

Jessica Krietz and Lauren Wildasen each added two hits for the Cougars (12-1, 10-0).

Brooke Powell had two hits and four RBI for North (2-10, 0-5).

No. 3 Greencastle 19, Steel-High 1


STEELTON, Pa. - Greencastle scored early and often in a four-inning drubbing of Steel-High in the Mid-Penn Capital.

Kris Root homered, had two singles and a double and drove in three runs for the Blue Devils (13-1, 10-0), while winning pitcher Sarah Signore had three hits, including a double and five RBI, Jessica Ritchey had three hits and two RBI and Sam Phillips chipped in with two hits.

No. 4 Brunswick 13, Smithsburg 5


SMITHSBURG - Megan Epley went 4-for-5 with a homer and three RBI to lead Brunswick past Smithsburg in the MVAL Antietam.

Winning pitcher Hillary Remsberg (7-1) went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI for Brunswick.

Julie Weaver was 3-for-4 and Kayla Martin went 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Leopards (3-8, 2-8).
