Hathaway leads the way for Hagerstown

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Aaron Hathaway went 4-for-4 and drove in his first run of the season and Wilson Batista had two hits and two RBI as the Hagerstown Suns completed a seven-game road trip with a 9-5 victory over the Lakewood BlueClaws on Wednesday.

The Suns (11-3), who had 14 hits, took control with a seven-run third inning.

Hagerstown starter Jose Sanchez allowed nine hits and five runs over 5 1/3 innings to pick up his third victory of the year. Tim Worthington didn't allow a run in 2 1/3 innings of relief, before Carlos Muniz came on to pitch 1 1/3 scoreless innings for his third save.

The Suns went 4-3 on the trip. After an off day today, they return to Municipal Stadium on Friday to start a four-game series with the Delmarva Shorebirds.
