"Tru Calling"

These days, even shows that aren't canceled come and go so unpredictably that it can be hard to keep track. But after a long wait, morgue attendant Tru Davies (Eliza Dushku) really is getting a second season. Tonight, she and nemesis Jack (Jason Priestley) are at odds when someone close to her dies.

Though the long-running drama recently had its run extended through the 2007-08 season, it's facing a period of adjustment. Noah Wyle, the last remaining star from 1994's original cast, will appear in only four episodes next season. His character, Dr. John Carter, will leave the hospital as a result of a rekindled romance with Kem (Thandie Newton), the woman he met in Africa.
