CARLISLE, Pa. - Spring is just around the corner, and now is the time to get ready for spring planting of small fruits, vegetables, perennials and containers. You can learn about creating healthy gardens at a series of workshops on Wednesdays in April at the Extension Office in Carlisle.

On Wednesday, April 13, Duane Fickeisen will cover home vegetable gardening. Annette MaCoy will cover perennial basics on Wednesday, April 20, and container garden basics on Wednesday, April 27.

The cost of each workshop is $5 and includes handouts and light refreshments. For information or to register, call 1-717-240-6500.
