April 15, 2005

Those wishing to vote in the upcoming elections for the City of Hagerstown have until Monday to register to vote, Washington County Board of Elections Director Dorothy Kaetzel said this week.

The elections office at 35 W. Washington Street in Hagerstown will be open Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The city general election is May 17, when all six elected posts will be up for a decision including the five council seats and the mayor.

In addition to the county elections office, registration applications are distributed at schools, post offices, libraries, town halls and other state agencies.

For information, election officials ask voters to contact the office at 240-313-2050.
