Absentee ballot applications for those unable to go to the polls due to absence from their municipality, illness or physical disability may be obtained from the registration office. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is Tuesday, May 10.

The Republican and Democratic parties will be nominating candidates for county treasurer, school boards, borough council and mayoral races, township supervisors and other municipal offices, as well as four magisterial district judge positions, to run in the November election.

All voters in Greene Township, including those registered as independents or with small parties, will be able to vote in the primary on a referendum on whether to allow liquor sales at Chambersburg Country Club.
