Shooting suspect faces more charges

A man charged in last week's fatal shooting in Hagerstown faces additional charges in connection with his April 5 arrest, according to court records.

Boni Facio Aramburo, 20, of 209 E. 11th St. in Ranson, W.Va., was charged Monday with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a registered firearm, records state.

The Hagerstown Police Department alleges a plastic bag containing crack cocaine was found between the feet of Aramburo as he was being taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of Terrance "T.J." Johnson.

Aramburo was charged last week with second-degree murder, among several other offenses, in that incident, records state.

According to charging documents, Aramburo told police he was trying to strike Johnson with the gun during a fight in the Noland Village housing complex when it fired.
