CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - State police in Chambersburg said Thursday they broke up a methamphetamine manufacturing operation at a residence and charged Brian R. Truett, 34, of 365 Elrock Road, Chambersburg, with three drug violations.

Truett, a fugitive from justice, was charged with possession with intent to deliver, causing or risking a catastrophe and possession of Anhydrous ammonia, police said.

The Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Laboratory Team investigated the operation at 2940 County Road, Chambersburg, and determined that methamphetamine was being produced.

A licensed waste hauler removed the items police seized at the residence for safety reasons, police said.
