A year ago, Air America Radio began broadcasting to provide a liberal alternative to the conservatives who dominate radio talk shows; Al Franken hosted the first show. This new documentary follows Air America's struggle to survive during its early months. (New investors came on board in December, providing some stability.)

9 p.m. on the Sci-Fi Channel

Alien Apocalypse

Talk about unpleasant surprises - astronauts (Bruce Campbell and Renee O'Connor) return from a long journey to find that aliens have taken over the Earth and enslaved the humans. It soon becomes clear that the only hope is to try to launch a revolution.
