The Hagerstown Junior Basketball League concluded its 57th season with an all-star tripleheader on Saturday at St. Maria Goretti.

In the Junior Division "A" Game, the Red beat the Blue, 70-54.

"The three main things that I emphasized were good man-to-man defense, good shot selection and good rebounding," Red coach Michael Murray said. "We stayed in a man-to-man defense for the whole game. I don't think that they got a fast-break layup on us."

Antoine Malone scored 14 points, John Moser added 12 points and Michael Rivas had 11 points for the Red. Spencer Draper had 11 points and Preston Button had 10 points for the Blue.

Blue coach Mary Lowery became the first woman to coach in one of the league's all-star games.

In the Elementary Division, the Red defeated the Blue, 67-56.

"This is a dream team," Red coach Marcus Scott said. "The team is just loaded with quickness and it has raw talent. If your team has 10 talented players that are fundamentally sound, then you can't lose. We were quicker than the bigger team."

Dominic Dickson and Trey Jessie scored 12 points each to lead the Red. Dee Morel scored 20 points, Devon King added 14 points and Stephen Cristy had 12 points for the Blue.

In the Junior Division "B" Game, the Blue got past the Red, 64-46.

Brandon Glazer scored 17 points and Renard Jones added 11 points for the Blue. Tyler Spencer had 12 points and Anthony Gibson had 10 points for the Red.

The Blue trailed 43-39 after three quarters, but outscored the Red 25-3 in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.
