AARP group announces trip schedule

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg's Fort Morris Chapter, AARP 3324, announces its 2005 trip schedule. For details, including prices and itineraries, call Bob or Betty Harper, 1-717-264-8595.

Trips include:

· Washington, D.C., on April 2 - National Symphony Orchestra Pops Concert conducted by Marvin Hamlisch. Visit the new Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian, have dinner at the Kennedy Center Caf and attend the performance.

· Lancaster, Pa., on May 24 - The Millennium Theatre and its new production of "Ruth." Included is a family-style lunch at Hershey Farms Restaurant and time for shopping and/or dinner at Rockvale Square.

· Paradise, Pa., on June 2 - The Rainbow Dinner Theatre's version of the comedy, "The Perfect Wedding." Shopping at Rockvale Square follows the performance.

· Washington, D.C., on July 28 - The Broadway musical "Hairspray" comes to the Kennedy Center. The group also will visit the International Spy Museum and dine at the Kennedy Center.

· Lancaster, Pa., on Aug. 25 - the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre is producing the Broadway musical "42nd Street." Shopping will be available at Park City Mall.

· Great Britain from Oct. 11 to 23 - A 12-day tour of England, Scotland and Wales. Three days in London have been added to a Collette tour of British Landscapes.

· Wheeling, W.Va., from Dec. 9 to 11 - A tour that includes the renowned Christmas light display in Ogelbay Park, a performance of the National Jamboree, dog races at Greyhound Park, a visit to the Kreuger Toy and Train Museum and a visit to a glass factory.
