World religion classes offered


The Interfaith Coalition of Washington County will host a series of "Exploring World Religions" classes beginning today. Each class will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the Hagerstown YMCA.

The schedule is:

· Today - introduction

· Thursday, April 7 - Hinduism

· Thursday, May 5 - Buddhism

Health and safety fair slated for March 30

A free health and safety fair, coordinated by the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park, Catoctin Mountain Park and Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, will be Wednesday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Elks Lodge No. 378, 11063 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown.
