Woman killed in Pa. crash

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Gettysburg, Pa., woman died after her car went off Pa. 316, flew into the air and landed in a graveyard, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Marybeth Wallace, 35, was killed, police said.

The crash happened Friday night, a few minutes before midnight.

Police said Wallace's 1988 Pontiac Bonneville was southbound on Pa. 316 and went off the west side of the road around a curve.

The car went across Grindstone Hill Road and hit a guardrail, then went into the air, police said.

Wallace was thrown from the car.

The car landed and rolled over, hitting some stones in a graveyard on the west side of Pa. 316, police said.

Wallace was not wearing a seat belt, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner's Office.
