Group to tour British landscapes in the fall

Shippensburg, Pa. - Fort Morris Chapter 3324 AARP and Collette Tours will provide a tour of "British Landscapes."

The 12-day trip begins Monday, Oct. 11, and includes four days in London, two days in Edinburgh and tours of York, the Lake District, Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon. The price is $2,679 per person (double occupancy). Single supplement is available.

NARFE to host trips, Panama Canal cruise

CHAMBERsburg, Pa. -Chambersburg NARFE 1063 will host the following trips:

  • American Music Theatre - One Voice gospel music celebration, Wednesday, April 13.

  • Atlantic City - One day, Caesars Casino, Monday, May 9.

  • King Henry (Poconos) - Musical variety show, Thursday, May 19.

  • Sight & Sound - To see "Ruth" and visit Kreiders Farm, Wednesday, July 13.

  • Atlantic City Overnight, Taj Mahal, Thursday, Sept. 22, and Friday, Sept. 23.

  • King Henry (Jim Thorpe, Pa.) - Musical variety show, Tuesday, Oct. 11.

  • Panama Canal Cruise - Sunday, Oct. 30, to Monday, Nov. 14. Leaving from Harrisburg Airport.

  • American Music Theatre - Christmas show, Friday, Nov. 18.

    Pickup points are Weis, Wayne Avenue, Chambersburg; and Kmart, Shippensburg, Pa.

Group to tour Branson and surrounding area

NEWVILLE, Pa. - The Newville Area Community Center announces the tour, "Branson and Beyond," from Sept. 19 to 27. Experience Branson, Mo., St. Louis, Nashville, Tenn., and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., in one trip.

The journey includes six nights' lodging, seven dinners, eight breakfasts, motor coach transportation, St. Louis Gateway Arch tram ride, Oak Ridge Boys Show, Yakov Smirnoff Show, Shoji Tabuchi Show, the Gatlin Brothers Show, Comedy Barn Show, Great Smoky Mountains Tour, Jimmy Osmond American Jukebox Show, sightseeing tour of the Biltmore House and Gardens, tour of Music Row, the Country Music Hall of Fame and all taxes, gratuities and baggage handling.
