Celebrate 100 years of Rotary, Saturday, Feb. 19, 6 to 10 p.m., Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, City Park, Hagerstown. The event will feature hors d'oeuvres, musical entertainment, announcement of new Paul Harris Fellows and recognition of existing Paul Harris Fellows. Black tie optional, business attire. Gifted Minority Scholarship benefit dinner


SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Sponsored by Shippensburg University, Thursday, Feb. 17,

6 p.m., Heiges Field House, Shippensburg University. The annual program is held to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday and to raise funds for the university's Gifted Minority Scholarship Fund. Della Reese, singer, actress and ordained minister, is the featured speaker of the program. Tickets cost $35 and include dinner and the program. Tickets for the program only cost $10, adults; $5, ages 12 through high school; and ages 11 and younger and Shippensburg University students are admitted free.
