Tri-State Safety Council installs officers, sets 2005 agenda

The Tri-State Safety Council of Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia installed new officers and announced its agenda for 2005 at its first meeting of the year on Jan. 25.

The new officers are Reginald Fallin of Health@Work as president, Dennis Lescalleet of Pleasants Construction as first vice president, Dennis Davis of Jamison Door as second vice president and Nita McCormick of the City of Hagerstown as secretary. Julie Gotschall from Good Humor/Breyers was appointed as a director along with outgoing president Jason Pickett of RW Warner.

The council has set an agenda to visit Children's Village of Hagerstown, Hagerstown Regional Airport and Health@Work. It also will hear presentations by motivational speaker Julie Gaver and Maryland Workers' Comp Commissioner Richard LaFata.

The Tri-State Safety Council's mission is to assist both large and small employers with complex regulatory issues by sharing resources and creating an informational network within the Tri-State area.
