All charges against the brothers accused of burglaries in western Washington County last year were forwarded to Washington County Circuit Court Wednesday, according to court records.

Washington County District Judge Ralph H. France II, during a preliminary hearing Wednesday, found probable cause to advance to Circuit Court all charges filed against Bradley A. Wilt, 23, of 807K Edwards Ferry Road in Leesburg, Va., and Jerry W. Wilt Jr., 28, whose exact address in Kearneysville, W.Va. was not listed, records state.

Both are charged with two counts of first-degree burglary, theft more than $500, malicious destruction of property more than $500, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit theft more than $500, records state.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department alleges the Wilts were responsible for the Dec. 14, 2000, burglaries and thefts at a home in the 12000 block of Saint Paul Road in Clear Spring and at a Hancock home. The Hancock home was that of a Washington County Sheriff's Department investigator, deputies said.
