She was a member of New Street United Methodist Church, where she was active in United Methodist Women, Goodwill Bible Class, with the administrative board, was a former teacher in the primary and junior departments and was bicentennial chairman.

She was a member and past president of Mecklenburg Extention Club and Shepherdstown Woman's Club and a member of Eastern Star Chapter 155.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Albert F. Kave; one daughter, Patricia A. Lucas of New Market, Md.; one son, Albert F. Kave Jr. of Greensburg, Pa.; one sister, Beatrice Carpenter of Hagerstown; one brother, Marvin Souder of Lost City, W.Va.; two grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Daphna Mathias.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Street United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown. The Rev. Dee-Ann Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.

ANNANDALE, Va. - Florence E. Mayhugh Richardson, 83, of Annandale, Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at the Capital Hospice Facility in Arlington, Va.

Born June 20, 1921, in Bushtown, near Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ross and Ruth (Brumbaugh) Mayhugh and was raised by her grandfather, Daniel Mayhugh.

She was a homemaker and had worked in the 1970s for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.

She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Falls Church, Va., since 1954.

She was a 1940 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Surviving family are son, John J. "Jack" Richardson, Richmond, Va.; daughters, Kaye R. Fusaro, Lexington, S.C., Mary Sue R. Piccinino, Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Evelyn Wright, Alexandria, Va.; granddaughters, Dana F. Black, Valdosta, Ga., Tammy K. Fusaro, Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Kimberly M. Richardson, Richmond, Va.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Carol Richardson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, at noon, at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Pa., with the Rev. David L. Nesselrodt officiating. Burial will be in the Beautiful View Cemetery in State Line, Washington County, Md. There will be no public viewing.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Friendship United Methodist Church, 3527 Gallows Road, Falls Church, Va. 22042-7019; or to Capital Hospice Development Office, 6565 Arlington Blvd., Suite 500, Falls Church, VA 22042.

Also, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church of Falls Church, Va.

MAY 24, 1936-JAN. 25, 2005

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Patricia L. Ziobrowski, 68, of 1215 Arbor Ridge Drive died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at her home.

Born May 24, 1936, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Mae L. Miller Monn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank G. Ziobrowski, in 1994.

She was a 1954 graduate of Quincy (Pa.) High School and received a business degree from Hagerstown Business College.

She assisted her husband with his urology practice in Chambersburg.

She was a member of Blue Rock United Brethren Church near Waynesboro.

She was a member of the Pennsylvania and Franklin County Medical Society Alliance.

She is survived by one brother, E. Donald Monn of Waynesboro; three stepchildren, Dr. Thomas F. Ziobrowski of Danville, Vt., the Rev. Jeanne Brenneis of Arlington, Va., and Robert G. Ziobrowski of Chambersburg; six stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandson; and two nieces.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg. The Rev. John W. Shubert will officiate. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Peter F. Gross, 69, of 1812 Leafmore Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Jan. 22, 1936, in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Helen Newton Gross.

He graduated from high school in Connecticut, earned a bachelor of science degree in business from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt., and obtained a master of communications degree from Shippensburg University.

He retired from Knouse Foods Inc., as safety compliance director.

He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Chambersburg, where he served as eucharistic minister and on the vestry.
