FREDERICK, Md. - Jair Brady had 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists as Thomas Johnson stayed undefeated in the MVAL Chesapeake with a win over Linganore (5-7, 2-3).
Tim Abercrombie had 13 points and four assists, while Clinton Jones chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds for the Patriots (12-1, 4-0).
Steel-High 65, No. 2 Chambersburg 36
STEELTON, Pa. - Chambersburg fell behind early and never recovered in a Mid-Penn Commonwealth loss to Steel-High (17-1, 11-1).
Jared Olson had 13 points, while Jonathan Motichka added 12 to go with three assists for the Trojans (14-5, 8-5), who were without three starters - two due to medical reasons and one serving a suspension. Alan Bender grabbed six rebounds.
No. 6 Walkersville 71, Century 52
SYKESVILLE, Md. - Chris Hannigan had 19 points and eight rebounds to lead Walkersville past Century (4-9, 2-3) in MVAL Piedmont action.
Luther Weedon had 18 points and three steals and Jabari Brown added 11 points for the Lions (12-2, 4-1). Naquan Brown had eight rebounds and Dave Berry had six assists.
No. 7 Middletown 73, Winters Mill 62
MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Joe Keimig scored 20 points and dished out 15 assists as Middletown capitalized on a strong second half to put Winters Mill (10-3, 3-2) away in the MVAL Piedmont.
Jonathan Hall added 17 points for the Knights (12-2, 5-0) while Patrick Carney scored 10 points and had eight rebounds.
No. 8 Martinsburg 69, Musselman 44
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Q'Monte Matheny had 22 points and Martinsburg used a 22-7 third-quarter spurt to pull away from Musselman.
Emile Payne had 14 points and Scotti Smith added 12 for the Bulldogs (7-6). Nate Sowers added nine points.
Allen Kees led Musselman (4-8) with 18 points.
South Hagerstown 49, Brunswick 47
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Marcellus Sumlin had eight points, including the game-winning field goal with 10 seconds left, as South Hagerstown squeaked past Brunswick in the MVAL Antietam.
Allen Daniels scored 14 points for the Rebels (4-9, 4-2) while Domonique Byrd had 10.
Chris Papanicolas had a double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds for the Railroaders (5-8, 4-2) while Joel Hafner had 17 points.
Catoctin 83, Clear Spring 55
CLEAR SPRING - John Tumulty had a game-high 23 points as Catoctin jumped out to a 17-2 first-quarter lead and never looked back in an MVAL Antietam rout of Clear Spring.
Jake Yocum had 14 points, while Derrick Thompson and Kyle Huyser each added 10 for the Cougars (4-10, 2-4). Thompson had eight rebounds, seven steals and five assists, while Ben Rose grabbed six reboounds.
Scott Keeney had 15 points and Adam Kriner added 12 for Clear Spring (0-13, 0-6).
Potomac 46, St. James 32
ST. JAMES - Matt Greissing notched his seventh straight double-double, but St. James was outscored 20-8 in the fourth quarter in a Mid-Atlantic Conference loss to Potomac School.
Greissing had 13 points and 12 rebounds as the Saints (1-12, 1-5) hung with the defending MAC champions before late fouls allowed Potomac (6-5, 3-2) to pull away.
Shannon Strange had nine points, seven rebounds and four steals, while Eddie Dorsey had three steals for the Saints.
Tuscarora 75, South Carroll 69
FREDERICK, Md. - Hamilton Woodfolk hit the game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer and had four points in overtime to lift Tuscarora past South Carroll in the MVAL Piedmont.
Woodfolk finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Titans (9-4, 3-2). Malcolm Kattes had 22 points, while Brian Sweeney had seven assists. Chris Castro scored both of his buckets in overtime.
Josh Schaeffer had 18 points for South Carroll (4-9, 1-5).
Archbishop Spalding 58, SJPH 46
FREDERICK, Md. - St. John's at Prospect Hall battled to a tie at halftime, but was outscored 36-24 in the second half in falling to Archbishop Spalding in MIAA 'A' Conference action.
The Vikings (7-12, 1-9) scored just four points in the first quarter, but rallied to forge a 22-22 tie at intermission.
Spalding (15-8, 4-6) took the lead for good after a 22-point third-quarter burst.
Corey Dorsey had 12 points and eight rebounds, while Gonzalo Aparicio added 10 points for SJPH. Sean Brennan grabbed seven rebounds.
James Buchanan 77, Greencastle 59
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Brandon Bryan led all scorers with 27 points as James Buchanan beat Greencastle in Mid-Penn Capital action.
