Pets found

The following animals were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

The Humane Society suggests that anyone who has lost a pet and thinks the pet is among those listed below go to the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road, as soon as possible.

Shelter hours are noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. These animals may be made available for adoption after five days.


No. 55 - Juvenile, brown and black tabby over white, found on Virginia Avenue.

No. 56 - Juvenile, gray, orange, black torbie, found on Lehmans Mill Road.

No. 73 - Juvenile, beige tabby, found on Maugansville Road.

No. 76 - Adult, solid white, found on North Mulberry Street.

No. 86 - Juvenile, solid black, found on Downsville Pike.

No. 91 - Juvenile, gray tabby over white, found on East Washington Street.


No. 94 - Young adult, solid black, found on Florida Avenue.
