W.Va. man charged with harassment


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police have charged a West Virginia man with harassment following a Thursday incident.

Dennis Messick, 24, of Martinsburg, W.Va., was charged with harassment following an Dec. 23 incident on School House Lane in St. Thomas Township. Police allege he harassed Tabitha Wadell, 33, of St. Thomas, Pa.

Pa. police probing dispute between men


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a dispute between two Chambersburg men.

James Kendall, 41, and Randy Wolff, 47, both of Chambersburg, got into a verbal argument on Dec. 24 at 10 a.m., police said in a prepared statement.

Police allege Kendall threw Wolff's property along a driveway in the 4000 block of Molly Pitcher Highway South in Guilford Township. Police also allege Kendall shoved Wolff to the ground as the men argued, Trooper Thomas E. Snyder said in a prepared statement.

Pa. police looking into theft of tools


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the person who stole a heater and tools from a building in the 3000 block of Molly Pitcher Highway in Guilford Township.

According to Trooper Patrick Bradley, a Salamander heater and Craftsman cutoff saw were stolen. The tools were valued at $600, police said. The burglary occurred sometime between 2 p.m. on Dec. 21 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 22, a police report said.

Pa. woman reports stolen credit cards


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg woman told Pennsylvania State Police that someone stole her credit cards and made a purchase over the Internet.

Police said Mindy Bingaman, 33, of Chambersburg, reported the theft of a credit card. Trooper Thomas E. Snyder said the theft occurred in the 2000 block of Shinham Road on Dec. 24 at 10:27 a.m.

Vehicle tail light smashed


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the person who smashed the tail light of a 1997 Volvo 850.

The vehicle, owned by Vicki K. Glover, 55, of Chambersburg, was parked in the 3000 block of Grand Point Road in Franklin County, Trooper Richard Lewis said. Damage to the light was estimated at $150.

The incident occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 and 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 24, police said.

Pa. man charged with DUI


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police have charged a Chambersburg man with DUI.

Scott Wilson, 27, of Chambersburg, was charged with DUI on Dec. 24 at 10 p.m., police said.

Wilson, who police said was driving a white Chevy Corsica, lost control and crashed in the 1000 block of Letterkenny Road in Franklin County, Trooper Patrick Bradley said in a news release.

Pa. man faces DUI charge


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police charged a man with driving under the influence Saturday morning.

Jonathan R. Ware, of no known address, was charged with DUI on Christmas morning at 2:30 near U.S. 30 west of Pa. 997 in Greene Township in Franklin County.

Trooper Ronald D. Kesten said in a news release that Ware was stopped by police for a traffic violation.
