'A Midnight Clear'

An all-member show of holiday and winter themes continues through January. German Christmas traditions

The tour includes German Christmas traditions such as the Christmas tree, the yule log, werewolves, holiday wedding superstitions and more. Tours offered through Sunday, Jan. 2. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Candlelight tour

A self-guided candlelight tour featuring 14 of Frederick City's historic workshop houses. Full-moon hike

Susquehanna Appalachian Trail Club sponsors a five-mile hike on the Tuscarora and Darlington trails. A moderately paced hike on level terrain. Participants should dress warmly, bring a flashlight, hot drink and holiday munchies to share. Meet Sunday at 4 p.m. at the parking area on westbound Pa. 114, near exit 57 of Interstate 81. Jingle Bell Swing
