EMMITSBURG, Md. - A Frederick County, Md., man was killed in a two-vehicle collision Thursday on U.S. 15, Maryland State Police said.
Thomas H. Hahn, 75, whose exact address was not released, was pronounced dead shortly after a 4:02 p.m. crash on U.S. 15 at South Seton Avenue, according to police.
Police said a 1997 Nissan pickup truck, being driven by Hahn, and a 1995 Honda Accord, being driven by Kathie R. Grucz, 50, of Camp Hill, Pa., collided as the truck attempted to cross onto Old Frederick Road. The truck overturned, resting on its passenger side, according to police.
The crash remained under investigation Thursday night and no charges had been filed, police said.
Grucz and Hahn's passenger, Catherine A. Hahn, 62, were taken to Washington County Hospital, according to police.
A Washington County Hospital spokeswoman said Grucz was listed in serious condition late Thursday. The condition of Catherine Hahn was unavailable. The spokeswoman confirmed that Hahn was being treated there.
