Tree-lighting ceremony


Greencastle, Pa., holds its tree-lighting ceremony featuring Santa's elves distributing Christmas bells, Mr. and Mrs. Snowman, more. Farm toy show


Farm toy show sponsored by Tri-State Farm Toy Collectors Club. 'Rock 'n' Roll Holiday'


A celebration of American pop and seasonal tunes. Opens today and continues Fridays, Saturdays and select Thursdays and Sundays through Jan. 15. 6 p.m. dinner and 7:30 p.m. evening performances; 1 p.m. dinner and 2:30 p.m. show on Sundays. Santa's arrival


Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on a replica railroad handcar at the new Roundhouse, Valley Mall Junction. Prizes, costumed characters, Victorian carolers, more. Events take place Saturday until noon. From noon to 3 p.m. there will be holiday themed train music in the food court. Valley Mall, Hagerstown.




Women's ensemble

Craft fair


More than 150 handcrafters at Kris Kringle Kraft Fair. Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Santa arrives at 11 a.m. Saturday for photos with children. Clarion Inn and Convention Center, Dual Highway, Hagerstown. Free. Nonperishable food items, new toys or cash donations accepted for the Washington County Council of Churches. Funds also will be donated to Community Free Clinic.
