Treasure Sale


The Singer Society's fifth annual Treasure Sale will offer thousands of new and used items including furniture, pottery, glassware, holiday goods, rugs, silver and more. Used book sale


American Association of University Women will sponsor a used book sale with thousands of paperback books and hundreds of hardcover books. Today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. E.J. Fennel Building, 324 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown.




Art benefit


Paintings by R. Benjamin Jones will be on display at Hagerstown Community College Foundation's art benefit. 'Phantom of the Soap Opera'


Greencastle-Antrim High School Drama Club will present "The Phantom of the Soap Opera," a play about a mysterious phantom who lives below a TV studio and seizes a beautiful soap opera heroine for whom he has an obsessive love. MasterWorks II


Maryland Symphony Orchestra will present MasterWorks II, "Mediterranean Magic," with classical guitarist Sharon Isbin.
