Quincy Retirement Community employees honored by company

QUINCY, Pa. - The following employees of Quincy Retirement Community recently received awards for superior service and dedication in the third quarter of 2004.

- Susan Barlup, Medicaid specialist, and Michelle Ashway, human resources coordinator, were winners of the President's Award. The award is given to an employee who best exemplifies the embodiment of Quincy's mission.

- John Bumbaugh, inventory control, and Margaret Thompson, activities coordinator, were winners of the Exemplary Service Award. The award is given quarterly to employees who demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the operations of Quincy in an ongoing, over-the-top-way. These employees' contributions go beyond normal expectations and exceed the standards of performance day in and day out.

- Tim Bumbaugh, assistant director of maintenance, and Sue Rosenberry, social work coordinator were winners of the Kitzmiller Award. The award is given quarterly to employees who demonstrate initiative and problem-solving ability in providing for the continued care of the residents of Quincy.
