Hagerstown man found dead in Pa.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A 21-year-old Hagerstown man was pronounced dead Friday afternoon at Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center after a friend found him Friday morning in a U.S. Inn and Apartments room in Greene Township, Pa., police said in a written release.

Jamie Kearbey was found in Room 11A at U.S. Inn and Apartments, at 2375 Philadelphia Avenue in Franklin County, at about 4:30 a.m. Friday and was transported to Chambersburg Hospital before being transported to Hershey Medical Center, police said in a written release. Police said he was pronounced dead at 4:07 p.m.

Kearbey was discovered by a friend who also was staying in the same building and called 911, police said. No foul play is suspected, but police said they will continue to investigate his death, according to the release.

No one who was familiar with the incident was available to comment Friday night at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Chambersburg.
