FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Police have released a composite sketch of the man who shot another man once in the head Sunday night and are asking for help in identifying him.

The victim, David Pannuty, sat down with police on Thursday and provided a description of the shooter, allowing Cpl. B.F. Hall of the Berkeley County Sheriff's Department to produce the sketch, police said.

The bullet did not impact Pannuty's skull, and Pannuty was released from Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. He was not seriously injured, police have said.

Investigators have said that Pannuty was shot around 11:45 p.m. Sunday in his home in Sportsmen's Paradise, a community along the Potomac River in northern Berkeley County.

Pannuty's girlfriend has told police that a group of men entered the home and forcefully pushed Pannuty to the ground before shooting him.
