'Forget-Me-Nots' team raises $1,500 for Alzheimer's agency

November 01, 2004

The "Forget-Me-Nots" team of Clearview Nursing Home raised more than $1,500 for the Greater Maryland Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Clearview raised the money by selling raffle tickets, ham sandwiches and T-shirts. Families also donated money for luminaires, which were displayed on Mother's Day and Father's Day.

"For a small facility, our families and employees really pulled together to make this year's Memory Walk a success," said Shelly Mann, marketing coordinator.
