Treavor Gelsinger had a goal and an assist and Jaren Gembe had a goal for Greencastle (16-2) in the first half, which ended in a 2-2 tie.

"We had great year. It's a shame it had to come down to this," Greencastle coach Scott Gelsinger said. "The boys knew we had to win it to keep playing, and I don't think we stepped it up to Northern's intensity. It just didn't look like our heads were in the game."
