Katie Plume had 45 digs and seven kills to lead No. 5 North Hagerstown to a 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 25-18 MVAL Antietam win over No. 10 Smithsburg on Thursday night.

Kierra Nelson added 12 kills and nine blocks for the Hubs (13-1, 5-0) while Ariel Kifer had eight kills and four aces.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Tiff Hunsberger had 30 digs and Erica Helfrick had 25 assists for James Buchanan in its 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 Mid-Penn Capital win over Scotland.

Ashleigh Helfrick had 16 kills for the Rockets (18-1, 11-1) while Amy Heisey had 13 service points.

NEW MARKET, Md. - Bethany Springer had 19 service points, six aces and four kills to lead Thomas Johnson to a 25-13, 25-9, 25-7 MVAL Chesapeake win over Linganore.


Nicole Pagano had 12 assists and 12 service points for the Patriots (9-4, 4-1) while Sara Hanlon had eight kills and Michelle Bateman had 10 service points.

CLEAR SPRING - Becky Peters had eight kills, six aces and five digs for Catoctin in its 23-25, 21-25, 25-6, 25-18, 15-5 win over Clear Spring in the MVAL Antietam Conference.

Becky Cuddahee added 10 aces for the Cougars (5-7, 2-5) while Heather Haglin had 20 assists and Renee Seiss had seven digs.

Brittany Hyatt had 18 assists and six service points for South Hagerstown in its 25-6, 25-20, 25-6 sweep of Brunswick in the MVAL Antietam.

Dolphins 41, Buccaneers 20: Bryan Calendine had three touchdowns to lead the Dolphins, while Brody Nave, Desmond Brown and Shane Santell each scored one. Jared Haines and Chris Lorshbaugh each scored a touchdown for the Buccaneers.

Jets 49, Titans 6: Alex Akers ran for four touchdowns for the Jets, while Ryne Willard, Randell Freehling and Josh Conway each scored once. Derek Black returned an interception for a touchdown for the Titans.

Bears 57, Chargers 16: Octavial Taff had three touchdowns for the Bears, while D.J. Love and Conner Arnone each had two touchdowns and Kemper Baker and Colby McCauley each had one. Sam Mills and Westly Jackson scored for the Chargers.
