VA Medical Center flu clinic shuts down

October 20, 2004

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center has postponed its flu clinics for the rest of the week because the center's vaccine supply was exhausted on Monday, according to a news release from the center.

The next schedule flu clinic at the center will be Nov. 15-19 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the main lobby for eligible, enrolled veterans.

Because of the shortage of vaccine, only veterans in the high-risk category will be offered vaccines, the release said.

When supplies are replenished, information will be released to area media.
