Two teams of overweight contestants compete in this new reality series. Though they'll have the help of health experts and fitness trainers, they'll also be subjected to "irresistible temptations" that could prove to be setbacks as they try to lose weight.

"I Downloaded a Ghost"

A "13 Nights of Halloween" celebration starts with this movie about a girl (Ellen Page) who, after a few clicks on a Web site, finds herself with a real ghost by her side. One advantage: an authentic haunted house for her Halloween party. Gary Hudson and Carlos Alazraqui also star.

9 p.m. on PBS

"Broadway: The American Musical"

Julie Andrews hosts a six-hour history of the Broadway musical, covering its development from 1893 to the present. Interviews and archival materials help to tell the story. Continues at the same time Wednesday and Thursday.

10 p.m. on HBO

"Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel"

This week's new edition includes a disturbing report by correspondent Bernard Goldberg about jockeys who ride camels in races that are popular in the Middle East. The report says the jockeys are young boys who have been sold into slavery and "intentionally starved to keep their weight down."
