The Washington County Commissioners will hold a public hearing Monday at 7 p.m. at Hagerstown Community College's Kepler Theater to hear citizens' input on 37 individual property-owner zoning requests.
The commissioners also will review any further changes to a proposed comprehensive rezoning text developed as the result of a Sept. 27 public hearing.
A moratorium on development of subdivisions containing more than five lots in the rural area of the county will expire Oct. 28. Information gathered from the meetings will help determine whether that action will be continued or allowed to expire, according to a press release from the county. The moratorium has been in place since October 2002.
